Tammy Pescatelli (born as Tammy Gillespie) is an American stand-up comedian. She learned her comedic skills growing up in a large, crazy, Italian family outside of Cleveland. Her most recent comedy special, ''Finding the Funny'', was released recently in an exclusive deal with Netflix. That same special was selected "New and Noteworthy" by iTunes editors and also hit number 3 on the charts.〔("Official Biography | Tammy Pescatelli" )〕 In 2010, Pescatelli won Comedy Central's Standup Showdown. In 2004, she was a finalist on the second and third seasons of ''Last Comic Standing''. She has performed on ''The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'', ''The View (U.S. TV series)'', ''Joy Behar: Say Anything!'', ''Stand-up In Stilettos'', ''The Talk'', ''Rocco's Dinner Party'', ''Comedy Central Presents'', ''The World Stands Up'', ''The Bonnie Hunt Show'', ''Last Call with Carson Daly'', ''Dennis Miller'' and many others.〔("Tammy Pescatelli Bio | The Grable Group" )〕 She has also been a guest a number of times on the syndicated show “Comics Unleashed”, and was chosen for their “Best of the Best“ worldwide top selling DVD. Pescatelli is a regular guest on ''The Bob & Tom Show'' in Indianapolis, and is a fixture on the comedy channels of Sirius XM Radio. On January 22, 2010, she was a guest on ''Opie and Anthony'', an XM Satellite Radio talk show. She also appeared as a guest on Ron & Fez on SiriusXM. In 2014, she was chosen by Jenny McCarthy to be part of her “Dirty,Sexy,Funny” comedy special on EPIX and is now touring alongside Lynne Koplitz, Paula Bel and April Macie on the "Dirty, Sexy, Funny" comedy tour. Pescatelli has also been a regular co-host on Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM radio show, "Dirty, Sexy, Funny." To celebrate the start of the radio show, Pescatelli was invited on to the Howard Stern show along with McCarthy and Koplitz.
